Roasted duck breasts with a blueberry sauce was amazing together.
Nice atmosphere and great wait staff. Overall maybe a little pricier than some but we expected that. Wine list is good. White linen tablecloths gave it away. They take reservations which is nice. Had the fresh catch, pompano, which was prepared excellent.
We had the Crab cakes and shrimp bisque as appetizer and were amazing.
The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the bread that was brought out before the meal.
Make sure you have reservations.
Really enjoyed the service and the food was top notch. It is worth stopping by to get a bite to eat.
Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017: Might be the best dinner we've had in Amelia Island/Fernandina which is saying a lot! I had the special - fresh fish with peach jam, my husband had the short ribs. We started with the chicken and andouille sausage wontons and we're still talking about them days later. Sat on the patio, which is fantastic. Nice wine list, great portions, service was 5-star without being stuffy or snobby. It was a lovely evening. Everything was just perfect - fresh, cooked and seasoned nicely, presented beautifully and at the right temp. We've found our new, go-to place!
Fantastic pretty much sums it up! My wife and I visited Joe's yesterday evening and as usual the entire experience was spot on from making a reservation to desert. I had the braised short rib and my wife had the linguine with shrimp and scallops. The short rib had delicious flavor in every bite and was paired well with the corn succotash and potato cake. My wife swore that she was going to try something different but she couldn't resist the massive shrimp and scallops that are tossed in with the white wine sauce. I highly recommend Joe's to anyone whose looking for a comfy atmosphere and high quality dining experience.
Food is superior. Wait staff the best. Go for lunch. Dinner prices are high.
The ribeye steak was one of the best steak that I have tasted in a while with grilled veggies and some special butter on top of it.
