Beautiful building and marina area. Arrived too late to enter museum.

I went in to get directions and was never acknowledged by the attendant. He was on his cell phone clearly talking to his bookie about baseball games. I finally just walked out. Ridiculous.

Interesting exhibits focusing on the shrimping industry as it relates to Fernandina Beach. Staff was very helpful and made the excellent recommendation that we visit the Cumberland Island National Seashore / Park (which was awesome).

Definitely a recommended stop especially if you are vacationing in or around Amelia Island and are early on in your visit.
