John doesn't need a review. Guys who have been to the island know where to get their hair cut. Doesn't matter if you're 5 or 105, just one of the locals, or some CEO of a major corporation, he treats everyone with the same, "hey how are ya" or "long time - no see" when you walk in. Check out the collection of Coke bottles or the pictures of whales or, just sit and soak in the old barber shop atmosphere. Don't go for a quick cut, you won't get it. What you will get is atmosphere, a great hair cut and some sort of knowledge you didn't know about the area and the people who live in it.
Haircut cost was quite reasonable so make sure you leave a good tip!

Inside the door before it registered on me that the poster covering the top quarter of the front door was “Make America Great Again - TRUMP”. And then the conversation was about gay and queer bashing. Did not even consider getting a haircut there.
